My sophomore year has been OK so far, nothing too special has happened. Its been pretty standard so far, I’ve been getting good grades and staying out of trouble. That doesn’t mean nothing has happened or that I haven’t learned anything. I’ve laughed, cried, and loved. And there is plenty more to look forward to. Some of my accomplishments include releasing an album and completing my TED Talk and. I’m excited about the future because things are looking pretty good and I have a plan for after high school but a little sad to be going into my junior year because this means I am getting older and my high school days are almost over.
The English year has also been great. I’ve rediscovered my passion for reading and Mr. Anastasi has taught me many things to make my writing better. I’ve also finished the TED Talk we have been working on and has been hyped up all year. The blogs have sort of helped me put more character into my writing, rather than typing up essays like a robot. (Which I have been so accustomed to for many years.) Some things I am struggling with are staying on top of work and due dates and reading my IR book. There’s not much I want to learn before the year ends but I’m eager to see what I will learn before it does. So all in all my sophomore year is going well I’m looking forward to the future.

Agreed Andy……your character is your strength. Continue to add this flavor to your writing. Work on proofreading please!
