Passion

Passion is when you’re really into something. Being passionate something means its the only thing you want to do, the only thing on your mind. But passion is not to be confused to need. Something can be the only thing on your mind, but only because it has to be. Passion means you want to do something so much, that you feel that you need to do it. You can tell you are passionate  about something when you do the thing without even thinking about it.

For me, my passion is music. I enjoy all kinds of music and its something I’m really into. If I’m listening to music, I cant do anything else while listening to music because its the only thing I would be thinking about. I can only focus on the different parts that are playing and how they come together. I like to experience music when I’m listening to it so I don’t listen to it casually. That is why i do not listen to music while I work.

But I mostly enjoy making and playing music. I write songs with my guitar and sometimes write raps with my friends. When I walk into my room I just instinctively start playing my guitar without thinking about it. because its  naturally the only thing on my mind. Practicing is one of the only thing I do in my free time, sometimes it gets in the way of my work, which would probably classify it as an addiction, but being passionate about something is not unhealthy, like an addiction is.

You could think that music is like a distraction to me, but I think it just goes to show how passionate I am about it.  Music, mostly playing guitar, is like a passive action that I do without thinking about, like blinking or breathing. All these things are what makes me think that music is my biggest passion. Its what I’m really into, I’m so into it that playing music has become an involuntary action. That is what my passion is, music is my passion.
